MEET CHRIS & THE PITMASTERS

Memphis Roadhouse was launched in 2011 under the loving guidance of host Chris Lombardi, a proud Philly native from a southern US family and a bona fide bourbon and BBQ connoisseur. Running the show – grilling, frying and working the big smoke ovens – are our venerable pitmasters Remco (Aarhus), Mads and David (Odense), each of them passionate about ‘Q.’

HEART, SOUL and SMOKE.

Salt, spice and smoke are generously portioned into each and every batch of our cooking. All of our dry rubs and sauces are homemade using recipes collected from across the southern United States. With culinary expertise, state-of-the-art kitchens and custom-made slow cookers, our meats – including world-class Danish pork – are prepared daily with lots of love. And with plenty of patience: four hours for fall-off-the-bones ribs and thirteen for pulled pork, while hickory, beech and applewood serve as ‘fuel for flavor.’ We got soul, too, with classic southern sides like baked beans, collared greens and freshly-made cornbread.
